21Well more like tearing down the fire house, but whatever.
The demolition of the old fire and police stations has started. It’s mostly been bits and pieces so far, but the process will be picking up significantly over the next few weeks and we’re going to photograph it all. So keep an eye on this post for pictures, I hope to keep them updated weekly.

A reminder for all our EMT-Intermediates, this month is the roll-out for the KingLTSD advanced airway pilot program in District 4. The King airway will be completely replacing the Combi-Tube, so if you are not trained on the King airway you risk loosing your advanced airway skills all together. The District is holding trainings on the new airway device every Tuesday evening this month in Morrisville. In addition, the squad training for this coming Monday the 19th will be on the King airway. All EMT-Intermediates are stongly encouraged to attend one of these trainings so you do not loose your advanced airway skills. EMT-Basics are also encouraged to attend the training on Monday so they too can understand this new equipment, preparing them to assist with it’s use.

New WebSite Design

If your reading this I assume you’ve noticed the new website design. Long story short, I’ve changed the software I use to maintain the site that will stream-line the process and make it much easier for me to keep the site more up to date.

There are more features to come, but to begin with it has all the functions of the old site. There is some formating that still needs to be done in the members area, so bear with me there. If you find anything that doesn’t work like it should or if you have any thoughts to make the site better, please let me know.

For the members section you will have to register by creating your own user name and password. It will ask for an invitation code. That is the same as the password was for the old site. If have trouble with it shoot me an e-mail.
